Position Summary
Senior Auditor is responsible for directing the auditing process. As a senior auditor, you must be meticulous and analytical, with deep knowledge of auditing practices. This position offers benefits, competitive compensation, opportunities for growth, a great environment, and management support.
Responsibilities include:
- Plans and performs audits under the supervision of managers and/or directors
- Documents business processes within process narratives or flowcharts, identifying risks and mitigating controls
- Develops risk and control matrices and test plans for key controls
- Identifies control gaps and test the design of existing controls
- Handle day to day communication with the client
- Keeps Audit Managers informed of emerging issues and audit progress.
- Manages time and work efficiently so that deadlines are met
- Maintains positive team relationship by demonstrating and supporting the initiative, willingness to learn, flexibility, respect, cooperation and commitment to the success of the audit process
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or any related field
- 4 years of experience in public accounting firms
- Syrian license of Certified Public Accountant is required
- International qualification is desired: ACCA or CPA
- Excellent in English (Reading, Speaking, and Writing)
